Strengths: Blows away all but the TOP cards from competitors at half the price!

Weakness: Fan can be loud unless you update your drivers!! Slow driver support initially.

Bought this card when building my new computer in August 08. Read all the posts from the 'bleeding edgers' about bad drivers and loud fans but for the price it was hard to pass up. I've had great success with ATI's drivers, NO I don't over clock my CPU/GPU. I've had great success with ATI's drivers, NO I don't over clock my CPU/GPU. Setting the fan speed at 35-40% allows the GPU to run at 45c - 50c and using the HDMI adapter is GREAT for watching movies. The remote fan speed control was different but now I don't think about it, just set and forget.
I have noticed that ASUS has reconfigured the next generation of this video card with a different fan/heatsink setup probably in a effort to control fan noise.
