Great quad-core cpu
Strengths: Good performance, low price
Weakness: not as powerful as intel Q6600
I do a lot of video editing at home. My old computer with dual core athlon cpu cannot handle the H.264 HD videos, so I bought this Phenom quad-core 9550 as an update with AMD 780G motherboard. The performance is greatly improved, with much faster speed and less time in video convertion. The price is much cheapter than Intel quad-core.
