Strengths: Dual core with only 45W energy consumption. This the best CPU I have ever used.

Dual core with only 45W energy consumption. The performance of this CPU beat all Intel cpu in is price range!! If you are not a game mania this is definitely the right CPU for you.

AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400

Strengths: Low-power, stable, cool and easy to undervolt

Weakness: Could be cheaper (I got mine for $99)

Simply the best coolest HTPC processor available. Paired with the 780G chipset you have a really good HTPC. Chuck in a matx case and there you go! But if your not building HTPCs Intel Pentuim Dual-Core or regular Athlon 64 X2 processors are a better choice. Runs pretty cool on my system (see system config) 15C idle and 25C load 20-40W idle and 70W load. Pretty neat!! I'd love to give this a 4.5...
