Top-of-the-Line x2 Processor
Strengths: Great item highly sought after.
Weakness: NO Fan Heatsink
I would highly recommend this CPU to anyone that is looking to get the most out of a dual core AMD CPU. It tests out to be about 7% faster than the x2 6000+ however it costs more money than the 6000+. You will also have to purchase a good Heatsink/Fan for this beast but in my opinion it will be well worth it. If it would have come with a Heatsink and Fan I believe this review would have been a 10

Back in Black!
Strengths: Extreme Speed, Fastest AM2 Processor Available!
Weakness: No fan, extreme heat and power consumption.
Well, AMD decided to try making their first special edition processor. For water cooled cases this processor is the most extreme AM2 you can buy for now until the Phenom processors come out. Extremely fast, but it does consume a ton of power and produces tons of heat.

HOT buy, literally!
Strengths: 3.2 ghz, dual core, 2mb L2 cache
Weakness: extremely hot, not too well on over clocking as some models
I bought this processor to replace my amd athlon x2 5200+ processor. I had my 5200 overclocked from 2.6 to 3.04g so i figured i could clock this one pretty high too. As soon as i put this sucker in (used a stock amd cooler which i had from my 5200, i used a zalman one on my 5200) this thing was too hot to operate. Even in just windows vista not overclocked it as running around 50 something...

Good cpu for the money
Strengths: Value for performance. Unlocked.
Weakness: None so far.
Didn't come with a heatsink and fan. Just as well anyway as I got the cooler master hyper 2 x cooler to slap on it free after rebate. Not running it overclocked. No problems so far. Runs smooth, stable and cool with good performance. Installed easily on my gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5.

One fast CPU
Strengths: Fast. Fast. Fast.
Weakness: Hot. Hot. Hot.
I began building and overclocking my own PCs back in the 486 days. Somewhere along the way I got married, had kids, and found I had no more time for endless tinkering with PCs. One day, I took the big plunge -- I bought a stock PC from a major manufacturer. I've been running with that stock PC for a while now, but I had an urge to tinker again and managed to convince my wife it'd benefit her,...
