Corsair Twin2x4096-6400C5DHX

Strengths: Nice large heatsinks, compatible and stable, quite overclockable, great price, remains very cool. Very easy to follow instructions.

Weakness: Was not free.

OUTSTANDING product! The heat sinks are rather tall but it should not be a problem with CPU coolers. Despite the low CAS speed timings of 5,5,5,18 the memory is quite fast and was easily over clocked to 4,4,4,12 however unless you are a speed enthusiast, doing work or games that requires split super nano-second final renderings it is OVER-plenty fine at stock speeds. Much of the games and...

Good Memory

Strengths: Faster DDR2

Weakness: none

This memory covered all my expectancies. I used it to upgrade my PC. My PC runs faster than before. In addition, it comes with a protection in order to keep it cooler. This feature is pre-installed so it helps to install easier on the motherboard. If you want to get the best performace with this memory, you have to use Windows Vista. Windows XP does not recognize 4GB of memory. I know because my...

Another quality memory product from Corsair

Strengths: Price. Affordability. Performance. Stability. Quality of construction. Lifetime warranty.

Weakness: DDR3 will over time turn DDR2 into a legacy product.

Once again, another quality product from Corsair. The heat spreaders should help the Overclockers out there, while the quality of the product will help everyone. The DIMMs are built to last, with a warranty to match. They are "only" DDR2, but as of right now, there is no compelling performance reason to jump up to DDR3. People should be aware that under a 32-bit operating system, users won't get...

No problems.

Strengths: Monster looking heatspreaders. Warranty. Great company. Solid memory.

Weakness: Little pricey.

Not much you can say about RAM. Very easy install. Booted up first time- not that I was worried as Corsair has a good RMA procedure. Not as fancy looking as some other RAM, and the cost is a little more too, but you are paying for a brand that delivers and will be around for a while. Only minor quibble is these are CAS 5, but unless you are worried about Windows loading 1 second faster or do...

Works great

Strengths: Corsair brand, nice heatspreaders

Weakness: kinda expensive

The first set of these I purchased were both defective.... they gave errors in memtest. Corsair let me exchange the sticks with them, and the new ones they sent me work great. The heat spreaders are actually the main reason I purchased them... along with the great Corsair customer service on their forums. I haven't tried overclocking yet though. The only thing you need to watch out for is the...
