Excellent Quality Ram
Strengths: Overclocks well Great Price for great RAM Lifetime warranty
Weakness: Price (for some people) DDR3 coming out (but will not be standard for several years)
Crucial is a division Micron, who makes RAM chips for companies like Muskin. These are the same as the Crucial Ballistix Tracer line of product, minus the LEDs. I have 4GB of tracer and thought I would give these a try. They perform well, and overclock to 1100 at timings of 5-5-5-15. I have heard of timings of 5-5-5-15 at DDR2-1200. I never get a hitch in my computer system with these sticks of...

Crucial Ballistix 2GB PC2 8500 - Great RAM
Strengths: Crucial Micron D9 chips, lifetime warranty, yellow heatsinks, excellent overclocker.
Weakness: Expensive if you buy without rebates.
No issues running on a MSI P6N SLI-FI motherboard. Currently running at DDR1066 with 5-5-5-12 timings @ 2.1V. Also tested at DDR900 with 4-4-4-12 timings and DDR1140 with 5-5-5-15 timings. Probably could overclock higher. Rebate took less than 6 weeks to arrive. I highly recommend this RAM.

Buyer Beware
Strengths: Cheap?
Weakness: Corruption and burn out issues.
This set has a high rate of failure, unfortunately I found this out after I bought it. One of the chips went bad in 2 months and I'm RMA'ing it and will Ebay it.
It may do well if you don't plan on overclocking or you may be lucky and get a decent set, but I've read alot of them fail pretty quickly. Buyer beware.

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066
Strengths: Micron D9 Chips, Lifetime warranty
Weakness: Expensive
I bought these to run in a Abit P35 board with a Q6600 1066mhz CPU in daul channel with out having to use a memory divider. In hindsight, and for the deals available on DDR2-800, the gains for using this memory are slight. I still would recommend this memory, just keep in mind the premium price it commands. Also keep in mind the voltage ratings on these sticks is 2.2. I'm running them at 2.1 with...

Ballistix 2GB PC2-8500
Strengths: Crucial Micron D9's, so its fast and reputable. The heatsinks look awesome.great for overclocking.
Weakness: none
Crucial produces high quality, dependable, reliable and extremely fast memory. I've owned other crucial products in the past and never have had a problem. All still functioning. This runs as stated at 5,5,5,15 at 1066mhz and beyond. Don't know the speed limit but it did go above 1100mhz at stock voltage. I can run 1000 mhz at 4,4,4,12 testing ortho blend for hours w/o failure. Boots and runs fine...
