Strengths:  Product was as spec'd. My motherboard needed a bios update to stop error code on boot up. Asus states the bios was compatable, however it neede...
Weaknesses: Runs hot. USe aftermarket cooler
Review: Processor was a definate upgrade from my orginal 530 cpu. Boot time was greatly reduced. Frame rates in BF2142 were increased. Web surfing speed was increased. My only suggestion is purchase a heavy duty cooler. The supplied stock cooler ran at full rpm durring most gaming times.

Strengths: Chip installed very easiely, Mother board reconized chip. Very well packaged product. Fast dual processoring.
Weaknesses: Using Windows XP the computer would lock up when doing some activities. Disabled Hyper Threading and the problem was solved.
Review: This is a great chip but as I said the Hyper Threading locked the computer up when I ran DVD copy programs.You can solve this problem by disabling the HT in the system setup. I solved this problem by upgrading from windows XP to XP professional and now everything runs great. I would recommend this chip to anyone that is doing heavy video editing, plus the price is right.

Strengths: Excellent Overclockability
Weaknesses: high temperatures
Review: This cpu is a Great overclocker, easy to install, with Zalman CPU fan, I can overclock it to 3.6Ghz, But the temperature is too high, about 70 degree C. So I have to decrease the cpu voltage, and it is running stable at 3.5GHZ with 41C idle / 60C full. Extremely happy of my purchase. The the stock heatsink is not good, you should buy a good cooler to keep it cool.
